“The Tek World” respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects its users to do the same. In accordance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA), we will respond expeditiously to notices of alleged copyright infringement.
If you are a copyright owner, or are authorized to act on behalf of one, please report alleged copyright infringements taking place on or through the thetekworld.com website (the “Site”) by completing the following DMCA Notice of Alleged Infringement and delivering it to our Designated Copyright Agent.
1. DMCA Notice of Alleged Infringement
To file a notice of copyright infringement, you must provide a written communication that sets forth the items specified below. Please note that you may be liable for damages (including costs and attorneys’ fees) if you materially misrepresent that a product or activity is infringing your copyrights.
Your notice must include the following information:
- A physical or electronic signature of a person authorized to act on behalf of the owner of an exclusive right that is allegedly infringed.
- Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed. If multiple copyrighted works at a single online site are covered by a single notification, a representative list of such works at that site.
- Identification of the material that is claimed to be infringing or to be the subject of infringing activity and that is to be removed or access to which is to be disabled, and information reasonably sufficient to permit us to locate the material (e.g., the specific URL of the page where the material is found).
- Information reasonably sufficient to permit us to contact you, such as an address, telephone number, and, if available, an electronic mail address.
- A statement that you have a “good faith belief” that use of the material in the manner complained of is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
- A statement that the information in the notification is “accurate, and under penalty of perjury” that you are authorized to act on behalf of the owner of an exclusive right that is allegedly infringed.
2. Delivering Your DMCA Notice

3. Counter-Notification Procedure
If you believe that material you posted on the Site was removed or access to it was disabled by mistake or misidentification, you may file a counter-notification with us (a “Counter-Notice”).
Your Counter-Notice must include the following:
- Your physical or electronic signature.
- Identification of the material that has been removed or to which access has been disabled and the location at which the material appeared before it was removed or access was disabled (the URL).
- A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief that the material was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification of the material.
- Your name, address, telephone number, and email address, and a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the Federal District Court for the judicial district in which your address is located (or if you are outside the UnitedS, for any judicial district in which “The Tek World” may be found), and that you will accept service of process from the person who provided notification of the alleged infringement.
Upon receipt of a valid Counter-Notice, we may, in our discretion, send a copy to the original complaining party informing them that we may replace the removed material or cease disabling it in 10 business days. Unless the copyright owner files an action seeking a court order against the content provider, the removed material may be replaced, or access to it restored, in 10 to 14 business days or more after receipt of the Counter-Notice.
4. Repeat Infringer Policy
In accordance with the DMCA, “The Tek World” has adopted a policy of terminating, in appropriate circumstances, users who are deemed to be repeat infringers. We may also at our sole discretion limit access to the Site and/or terminate the accounts of any users who infringe any intellectual property rights of others, whether or not there is any repeat infringement
